The only consistent thing here is the inconsistency. And so, this is what I’ve been listening to over the past week. Florence & The Machine has been on rotation for some time now but you’ll notice the addition of Daedelus. As it happens I got a big dose of new music from Jesika Dearest (thank you!) and its been keeping my feets tappin as I work.
Flying Lotus melted my face off, scraped it off the floor, and then baked me a cake which I proceeded to eat with chopstix at Decibel Festival this year. I’ve been a bad tourist and have yet to download the images from my camera but I’m pretty sure I didn’t get (m)any pictures of the occasion. Chopstikkin and picture taking don’t walk hand in hand my friends.
Finally, Phoenix people, Daedelus is coming Friday November 19th via Magical Properties Fall Tour. Just sayin…

Believe it or not I’m trying to get into a regular blogging routine. If you’ve read this for any amount of time you’ve noticed me attempt to start up a couple ongoing subjects which don’t really make it past the first round. So its time for another one of those. Playlist Tuesdays? Sure. Why not.
So lets kick this off by showing you what I’ve been listening to the past 7 days:
I was on a bit of an electro kick last week getting amped up for friday. Also, I’m attending the Sasquatch Festival in WA this summer, and BOYS NOIZE is on the lineup. Decided to bow out of the Coachella trip in favor of trying something new. I was way off on my lineup wish list btw. Thom Yorke and Major Lazer are the two acts I’m sorry I’ll be missing.
Anyone going to any music festivals this summer?

I took a trip to the pacific northwest recently with my good friend Jesika. We started off in Portland OR where we had three different tour guides providing a variety of perspectives on PDX. Here are some select photos:

Its been an awesome year filled with lots of adventure and travels. The lasted chapter finds me in San Francisco California (my first visit) where I felt an unexpected ease and awe at well, everything. Cliche, I know, but I left my heart.

last week i took a trip to chicago and detroit with some good friends from AZ. as expected, i had a great time. in detroit we went to DEMF – a 3 day long ordeal that involved after parties galore and watching the sunrise. lots of pictures were taken but for now all i have to share are these precious little snippets from my blackberry…
